It appears that I am doing something new! Sleep Texting! Didn’t know there was such a thing, but apparently there is. Let me tell you the whole story.

Last Friday, July 17th 2009, I went to an Oral Surgeon who pulled the remaining 18 teeth I had in my mouth! IT HURT! So one of the presctiption meds he gave me was a pain pill, Oxycodone. I took it as prescribed. Only when I needed it for about 5 days.

On July 20, I sent my first text after I went to sleep that night to my wife Barb: (Hi sweely i warm thursday fox to get none can we decode) Then I sent the second one to her: (Did you see viet onl del tone. I bent that one in half. Scepsy)

According to an article I found, this is happening mostly to teens and younger people. I being 46 years old do not fall into that catagory. I want to blame it on the medication I was taking.

So the next night July 21 I sent a text to my friend Dawn Pardoe at 10:50 saying have a good night.

Then at 11:09 I sent this one to my wife: (Spell check pork to deject reinvafl juneag one time too many for my taste!):

At 11:11 I sent one to my friend Dawn: (Splang flume to format diller tops morning jog with loose meat. Smoked)

Then at 11:17 another text to my wife: Flerg says no more tomato paste. Totally not working on the door frame. Needs better flakyness.)

And finally the last one at 11:24 to my friend Dawn: (Frank needs total prank to throw off dogs from his trial. They wont get him this time either! Thinewtsab.)

Could this be medication induced? Could it be a reaction to having all my teeth pulled? I hope someone will comment and let me know what they think.

I never knew I could do something new!!

Michael Jackson died!

That is a sad thing to read, I liked MJ, especially Thriller and that time period. I bought the Thriller video (on VHS) Michael was like a kid in it. During the dance practices he is just running around like he had too much sugar!

Can you imagine what it must have been like to be Michael Jackson? Being the center of attention at such a young age, and almost being the driving force behind The Jackson 5. It has been said since he died that he was a man as a small boy, and a small boy as a man!

I am not even going to talk about his later appearance!

The thing that has me over the barrel is this news report about Michaels dad Joe Jackson, speaking about Michaels funeral arrangements and how they are still in the planning stages. That the family doesn’t want to keep the general public from being allowed to be there. My guess is the holdup might be trying to get tickets printed and how much to charge for them!

In that same press conference Joe Jackson makes sure to mention that he is starting a new record company! I guess it must have sounded like this:

“We are planning our son’s funeral right now, we will give you more details as we get them, but I am starting a new record company with another guy, to capitolize on my sons music and to make sure the Jackson family makes as much money on it as we can.”

You may have heard all the stories about Joe Jackson and how stern and abusive he may have been. I believe he was abusive, The Jacksons didn’t just get on TV cause they were cute! They were excellent musicians! 

Michael Jackson is worth more dead that he was alive, they are even planning to re-open Neverland Ranch.

I just feel bad about Michael. Where is he now? I pray that he had God in his life, not sure though.

This was the discaimer at the beginning of the Thriller video: “Due to my strong personal convictions, I wish to stress that this film in no way endorses a belief in the occult.”

That looks pretty good, but that was 1983! When MJ was still a black man. Was there anyone with Michael who might have had some common sense?

Michael Jackson, we will miss you. I don’t know what kind of music you might have done after your big comeback, but we will always have the music you left here.

I want to thank the news media in the United States for making sure we know about the H1N1 Virus. Thank you, thank you, thank you! It is about all we have been hearing about for days. Except for the unfortunate low level Air Force One New York City Fly Over/Photo op!

I wonder if we could spread anymore fear. Our media has been spreading fear for decades now. I want to point out that it has been my experience that if you really believe something to be true, it will come true. If you allow the news media to convince you that the H1N1 Virus will GET YOU! I don’t know how else to say it than “Well it’s gonna get you!”

It angers me! It really does. People buy into this paranoia!!!!! It is sensationalism at its worst. Just like watching OJ drive his suv down the Caoifornia highways in slow motion, for hours! I remember that, I was playing a band job which we started at 10:00PM OJ was on the TV Driving away from the police! For HOURS!

News media sensationalism! Been going on for a long time. I am telling you this as a fact! I WILL NOT BE HAVING THE SWINE FLU! I won’t because I don’t believe it is necessary and I won’t get it because the news media says I will! And you won’t either! Don’t let the news people dictate what happens to you, it’s like they are making the news happen instead of reporting it!

Then they always come up with a new word, thank goodness they are using the one from the Bird Flu a few years ago, Pandemic! Epidemic! Plague! It’s hard to imagine something like that in this day and age, but I guess you can’t argue with hundreds of people dying in Mexico, my prayers go out to them, but if you think for a minute, Mexico isn’t that a Third world country? Like Jamaica. Have you seen the pics of the Mexicans over this Pandemic? Mexico isn’t exactly the US. I think we have a better chance here, I do want to convey my thoughts to Mexico though.

Oh and one more thing! These people who are telling you about the H1N1 Virus (yes our CDC is asking that we call it that) are the same people who warned us about Y2K! It’s gonna shut down the planet! Need I say more!

Hi, it has been a few weeks since I posted anything here. So here we go.

I am gearing up to record a concert tonight at the Altoona Area Junior High School. I am recording the Small Ensemble concert at 7PM. I set a goal for myself to sell at least 40 CD’s tonight. Wish me favor!

What have I been thinking about lately? What’s been on my mind? Well quite frankly, a lot!

About two weeks ago we had a shooting here in Altoona. At the 58^th Street Subway restaurant. A man knocked on the back door of the place and when a 19 year old employee opened the door, this man shot him! Three times, killed him instantly! Then he went into the store and shot another girl in the hip! And placed the gun to the head of a third employee and demanded money! He got about $100.00!

After he left the store, he ran through an apartment complex and shot another man who was just getting his mail! Killed him instantly too! He was apprehended by Altoona Police within 12 minutes of the first 911 call!

Now I expect you think I am going to call for more gun control! NO!

What I am going to say is this; September 11, 2001 has claimed two more lives!

How you ask? Here goes! This alleged shooter was released from the Military after doing several tours of duty in Iraq! That would be the war that was over years ago that is still going on over there!  The war against terrorism! That was begun after September 11, 2001. Our military men and women are serving over there and coming home with problems. I am not putting them down! They have done a wonderful service, by all means. But some of them are having problems back home!

This guy is already saying he has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder! Maybe he will get the help he needs. Still doesn’t bring back two lives that shouldn’t have ended! Then we had the 3 Police officers in Pittsburgh killed, and then a man in Florida shot his entire family, then another shooting and another and another! Not to mention Volcano’s erupting here and there, and Earthquakes and people starving and bad toys from China and … get my drift?

Now another note, this one is brand new. Suzanne Boyle! Heard of her yet? You will! Britain’s Got Talent tryouts last week shocked by this 47 year old Woman who sang I dreamed A Dream. She comes out all frumpy looking with wild grey hair and a house dress, and they all (the judges) have this oh come on look on their faces! Then she starts singing and within seconds the whole crowd is on its feet! ON ITS FEET! It is truly amazing to see, go to YouTube you can’t miss it! I think something changed when that woman started singing on that stage! I think a door was opened into a whole new realm of creativity! A room that was shut up and dark has been opened and lit up with light and it is just a matter of time until more people come into their destiny! This woman has been living in Scotland for 47 years and no one knew she could sing? It is really a good story! Maybe it isn’t too late for me!

I think what we need in our country is someone with a powerful voice, like a sports guy or a rock star, or a news person someone who already has the audience to make a bold statement. I don’t care who gets offended by what I say next! WE NEED GOD BACK IN OUR COUNTRY! No beating around the bush, no buts about it. We need Jesus Christ the redeemer and savior and we need Him right now! If this makes you uncomfortable too bad!

Instead of asking why does God let bad things happen in this country why not ask God to come back and live with us and see what happens to the bad atmosphere we have here. It’s no wonder we have shootings! Listen to the music our kids are listening to. Watch TV sometime after school. Law and Order, CSI, Etc. television is a mess! The media in this country owned by Satan!

If you try to say anything about the government they make you out to be an idiot! All these people going to the tax day tea party rallies, it was a good idea, but did it make a difference? Do you really think our politicians care? They get richer and richer on our money, then give it to big business to throw away on bonuses! I am getting fed up with it all! I say if GM can’t make it in business, go out of business! Same way with AIG! They are going broke anyway!

And don’t blame the President! He only gets four years or eight! How about Ted Kennedy!? He’s been in office as long as I have been alive! Started in 1962! He even keeps working with brain cancer! If that were you or me, we would been retired by now!

Yeah we need God back in a big way! We kicked Him out a long time ago, told our kids we can’t pray in school! Can’t pray in our clubs, I was in a weight group called TOPS once and we couldn’t pray before that either. Had to call it a moment of silent concern! Well I’m concerned!! Call it what it is people, stop being afraid! It is prayer, He is God, Jesus Christ! The Lord on High! I will be glad to climb any mountain with anyone who wants to proclaim His name as Lord!
